This wedding was held on the cliffs of Menorca. With the Mediterranean Sea in the background and the bride, groom and guests in an intimate wedding surrounded by nature and the wild beaches of the island.

There are emails from couples who write you for their wedding and you already sense that you are not only going to get pictures, but the beginning of something very nice with them. That’s what happened with the email Cristina wrote me for her wedding with Álvaro in Menorca.

We start from the premise that Menorca is very special for me for many reasons, but if you add the beautiful words that Cristina dedicated to me, I had no choice but to have a “love at first sight” towards what they told me…

They chose to get married in Menorca, their Menorca, in their own way. The celebration was at the rural Hotel Sant Joan de Binissaida. The guests went thinking that they would spend the day there. However, Álvaro was waiting for them with a surprise: the wedding would not take place at the finca. They would all go together in a bus to a small cove nearby to perform the ceremony. There was nothing planned or placed on that cliff. Just some espadrilles so that the guests could walk comfortably on the rocks.

When Cristina appeared among the rocks, radiant with happiness and wearing an incredible dress by Laure de Sagazan, the guests still couldn’t believe where they were. The rest: a wild cove in Menorca, amazement of the guests, nerves of the bride and groom, Álvaro giving his all and emotion, a lot of emotion from everyone.

After the ceremony, back to the finca, Menorcan homemade pomade, a very typical horse ruckus, Álvaro’s surprise by dedicating a dance to Cristina, more dancing and a lot of desire to have a good time. That was the natural and simple wedding they wanted and that was the wedding they had: surrounded only by their people and the nature of the island.

They decided to do their ceremony in a very private way. Just their closest families and friends. They took a bus and went all together to a private beach close to their hotel: Sant Joan de Binissaida. Guests had no idea of the place of the ceremony and they were very surprised when they saw the cliff, the sea, the sunny afternoon…. It was just perfect. When the bride finally appeared with her beautiful dress by Laure de Sagazan, everybody started smiling! And I just couldn´t stop taking amazing photographs….
