This Must Be the Place Film Wedding

A few days ago I had the pleasure of photographing a truly special wedding at “This Must Be the Place”, a charming farmhouse a few kilometers from Barcelona. From the moment I arrived, I knew that the wedding would be quiet and stress-free. Surrounded by nature and away from the hustle and bustle of the city, This Must Be the Place is a little corner of peace where you can only hear the birds and the silence.

I also hired took analog and film photographs in this wedding. These are photographs taken with Kodak analog film both in 35mm format with a Contax and in medium format shot with a Holga.

The location breathtaking. As soon as you arrive at the main entrance of the farmhouse, you meet green fields that create an idyllic backdrop for any ceremony. The stone farmhouse contrasted with the green color of the grass growing around it. A beautiful cactus that is planted next to the main entrance to the farmhouse is the forst thing I saw when I arrived there The owners told me that this cactus only blooms a few days a year during the spring time and I was lucky enough that those were one of the few days a year when the cactus was bursting with flowers.

Galina and Nathan decided to have their ceremony outdoors and make the most of the surroundings. The guests gathered in the garden and the ceremony was held next to the house and overlooked a small village near the farmhouse.

For the wedding decorations, The Gathering Wedding Planners were helping to create the minimalist atmosphere with the touch of color that Nice Flowers brought with their wild and country flowers.

If you want to see another wedding held in a venue with a unique architecture, I invite you to see these wedding photographs at La Baronia.
