Menorca is always a beautiful place to celebrate a wedding. You have amazing beaches and small hermitages like Nuestra Señora de Fátima where to celebrate ceremonies. In this wedding the wedding took place in a finca in the countryside surrounded by the characteristic stone walls of the island.
Diana is Spanish, Renan is Brazilian, they live in Switzerland and decided to celebrate their wedding in Menorca. They were looking for an intimate, warm and fun wedding, with musical touches from Brazil and the magic of the Balearic Islands. A wedding where they could enjoy the island with their friends and family.
They started the day looking at the sky because of the rain forecast, but enjoying everything and not caring too much about what would happen with the rain. They enjoyed their families while getting dressed in the wonderful village of Binibèquer. With great views of the sea and the pine forests of Menorca.
Diana’s family (with whom I ended up falling madly in love) brought their old Volkswagen van in which they used to travel together when they were kids. In it Diana arrived mid-afternoon at the hermitage Nostra Senyora de Fátima halfway between Maó and Fornells. After a simple and emotional ceremony, we enjoyed a very relaxed and natural photo session, as they wanted to have. Moving through the fields of Menorca and especially in some sections of the mythical Camí de Cavalls that I like to walk every time I go to the island. To highlight without a doubt the good time we had, the tranquility they transmitted and the spectacular wedding dress of Diana, with a slit in the leg and neckline that I loved.
The party ended in a private estate located in the Camí de Toraixa to Binissaida, where the incredible decoration by Noemí, put the final touch to a day without sun, but full of joy.
Diana and Renan, I will never tire of thanking you for choosing me as your wedding photographer and allowing me to be with you and your families in that little corner of Menorca.
