Outdoor weddings are one of the trends in photography this year. Venues with gardens to get married by civil ceremony or to celebrate the day after getting married in a church. Throughout these years as a wedding photographer in Cadiz, Malaga, Mallorca or Menorca, I have worked regularly in this type of venues. Most of them are spaces with a lot of style and charm where the bride and groom can enjoy the environment and the outdoors to be with their people.

In the case of Barcelona and surroundings, the most abundant are the Masias like the ones in this wedding. The one in this wedding  is Masia Egara, a 16th century house in the north of Barcelona, with stately gardens that take your breath away and surrounded by forests in which you can get lost for hours without hearing anything but the sound of birds.

Patricia and Miguel had to postpone their wedding twice because of the covid pandemic. Finally they decided to opt for an open space with the security that the open air gave them to celebrate that day with tranquility. They decided to get married in church, specifically in the Monastery of Santa Maria de Valldonzella (Barcelona). This monastery is a small Romanesque church located very close to Torre Bellesguard, in one of the most exclusive and luxury areas of Barcelona.

After the ceremony, we went to Masia Egara, where we could enjoy a session in their gardens. They did not want a very long photo session, just a few minutes walking relaxed to have the memory of that day. Patricia wore a beautiful wedding dress by Verónica Miranda. It was an elegant style dress with a delightful mix of classic and sophisticated. It was accompanied by a chiffon gown with buttoned sleeves and delicate hand embroidery that added floral detail to the minimalism of the dress. Makeup and hair were done by Trendy Novias.

The rest of the afternoon the guests and the bride and groom enjoyed the last rays of sunshine in the gardens. We were lucky to enjoy a warm autumn wedding in a privileged environment and with the help of quality suppliers such as Airolo, Disco Moda and the whole team of Masía Egara. They made sure that everything flowed and was the most pleasant.

And if you want to see more trendy weddings, I invite you to take a look at a wedding that also has a lot of style and a boho aesthetic. But in this case, it is a more urban wedding, specifically in Barcelona city. Look here and enjoy one of the most beautiful neighborhoods of the city. Surely you like it and it gives you ideas for your day.

Enjoy!
